    Every Saturday- Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church of Citrus Springs has a Saturday 4:30 PM Evening service for all who have to work on Sunday and can't attend. A variety of services will be offered including Evening Prayer, Holy Communion and Healing Services. All of the community is invited to attend and participate in these services. Hope is an open communion church believing that, "Christ is the host, and all are welcome at the table."

    Prayer of the Day - O God, on this day you revealed your Son to the nations by the leading of a star. Lead us now by faith to know your presence in our lives, and bring us at last to the full vision of your glory, through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

    Prayer of the Day - Almighty God, you anointed Jesus at his baptism with the Holy Spirit and revealed him as your beloved Son. Keep all who are born of water and the Spirit faithful in your service, that we may rejoice to be called children of God, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Grant, O divine master, that we may seek to console, to understand, and to love in your name, for you live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

     

 

Children Sunday School Class 9:00 AM Sundays Classroom 1,3 and 5

The Children Sunday School class meets from 9:00 am to 9:45 am each Sunday. The classes are open to children of all ages and includes stories told by Jesus, Puppet Show Preparation, Bible stories for today, and crafts. The classes are facilitated by Hope's Sunday School teachers and assistants.

Adult Sunday School Class 9:00 AM Sundays Classroom 2

The Adult Sunday School class meets from 9 am to 9:40 am each Sunday. The class is studying the 13 books of the New Testament attributed to the Apostle Paul. Paul poured out his life for the cause of Christ. His dedication and self-sacrifice for the message of the Lord Jesus Christ, continues to be an inspiration for Christians everywhere and we hope you all will join us as we study Paul's Epistle to the Romans with a look at Paul, the man. Join us to find out who Paul was, where he came from and where he journeyed to carry the good news of Jesus Christ. The class is facilitated by Dr. Steve Northsea

Hope Endowment Committee Scholarship is available to members of Hope who are graduating from high school and will be attending a post-secondary educational institution. Please click the link below to find further information and the application.

Upcoming Events

Congregation Annual Meeting

The congregation of Hope will hold the annual meeting of the congregation on Sunday January 27, 2019at 11:15 PM. Members will review committee reports, approve the Ministry Financial Plan for 2019, and elect members to the Church Council. Fellowship will follow the meeting.

Taco Nights

Congregation Retreat

The congregation of Hope will hold the Post Call Congregation Retreat on for Friday February 15, 2019 at 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturday February 26, 2019 from 8:20 AM until 3:30 PM. in Luther Hall.

Scout Activities

The following Activities will be held in Luther Hall by Scouts and are open to congregatiion and community:
a. Pinewood Derby Saturday, January 26, 2019 10 AM to 3 PM in Luther Hall.
b. Spaghetti Dinner for congregation and community Saturday, February 2, 2019 5PM to 7PM in Luther Hall
c. Blue and Gold Dinner Saturday, February 23. 2019 at 4 PM in Luther Hall.
